When we are feeling under the weather it could be due to a physical illness. It could also be a sign that we are stressed. If you think it’s the latter, you may need some help to reduce and manage your stress levels.
A trip to the GP may have resulted in having a course of medication and although you may feel better after 3-4 days, you’re always advised to complete the full course of recommended medication or treatments for a full recovery and to feel like your old self again.
I often have people come to me who have been feeling stressed, overwhelmed or have an injury that just won’t go away. They have been trying to manage the situation by themselves for weeks (sometimes months) before deciding they needed help and made the decision to come to me for a treatment.
Often they come because a friend has recommended me after having a treatment themselves. They arrive in the hope of finding a treatment to fix them and put things back into balance. If it’s a long-term condition that occurred over several weeks, a course of treatments is usually needed to aid their recovery and reduce and more importantly, manage their stress levels.
Reducing stress
Looking after yourself on a regular basis is so important and something I encourage all my clients to do. Having regular treatments with me is just one part of their self-care routine to reduce their stress. More often new clients want to feel less stressed and to feel able to cope better with their everyday life. To feel more like their fun-loving, confident, old self again.
New clients who want consistent results so choose to book a course of treatments – monthly, fortnightly or weekly. This allows them to have regular, pre-booked treatments and it helps them to focus on maintaining their health and wellbeing. They make their treatment session part of their self-care routine. Read Maxine’s case study here.
Here’s what some clients had to say when I asked these questions…

“As a busy business owner and mom I needed of some serious relaxation and rest!.” Clare, Sutton Coldfield
How do you feel after having regular treatment sessions?
